there’s been talk of having regular mafia meetups in wellington—no actual logistical planning or discussion, but the idea and the enthusiasm are there. which is where this thread comes in; to provide the planning and discussion, too.

i’d suggest the first saturday of every month; unsure about the exact time as it depends on how early you wanna get up v. how long you want to play, but i imagine sometime around 11am would be p objectively agreeable. location-wise we could either hang at courtney or do a circle of people's houses, provided they a) have a big enough space for 8+ people b) are ok/have parents that are ok with people in their house d) aren’t situated in some way out place c) have a house

any comments/questions/ideas would be most excellent

next meet:
2nd of july at sgb's house (11 ngaio gorge road. top of the gorge by bustop, middle driveway)

2nd of september at pura's house (somewhere else)

My house would probably be big enough (Our lounge is huge) but I hate having people over when parents are home OTL our hosue is really open and everything connected, no secluded place to hide.

And if Ben had twitter he would know about this already lol.

alright, 'locking in' 11am on the first saturday of every month. if anyone has any objections they can raise them as they have them.

we still need a consensus on location. frank kitts/courtenay or people's houses

I like Courtenay, although we could potentially get kicked out if we're just sitting there during peak time "not doing much" har har. Houses could be cool, like having a different environment each time. I don't think I could offer mine though, for one thing weekend public transport up here is nonexistent ;; Weather dependant maybe?

I personally would be prefer playing at someone's house than in town.
For a game to work you need as little distractions as possible really.. and also more comfortable Razz

But then again I can't really supply a house, so if we can't find a place I will suck it up and deal :)

Why are you planning on doing this on the 11th if you're trying for the first Saturday of every month? The first Saturday of June is the 4th. Unless I'm missing something. In which case I will fade out since I don't even live in Welly.
