Saturday June 4th
9am – Doors open
Anime screening

10.30am
Introduction to the day’s events – opening ceremony

10.45am
"The history of Cosplay"
From the beginning of the cosplay phenomena in 1984 when Nobuyuki Takahashi came back from America and saw the U.S. fans were dressing as their favourite characters and beyond!.

11.30am
'Learn an Anime Dance'
Where Attendees can come along and learn how to perform the 'Hona Sainara' dance from the Bleach Musicals. It's fairly easy and a group dance.

Noon
General Q and A with Kari Wahlgren and Kristi reed

12.45pm
Anime screening

1pm - Outside
Cosplay Chess - Outside
"Come along and join in the fun of mini chess as a piece or a player. Anyone young or old can come join in the fun or cheer on your friends, favourite characters! Act in character or as yourself for the mini battles."

2pm
'Yu-Gi-Oh: The Abridged Series'
Introducing people to the original series, and abridged series in general

2.30pm
Who wants to be a Voice Actor USA VERSION
Voice Director Kristi Reed gives audience members the chance to dub anime themselves. Giving a few audience members the chance to step up to the mic and be the voice of a popular anime character.

3pm
Autograph signing session

Ever wanted to have a go at voice acting or simply have a go at dubbing your favourite character? Well now's your chance! In this panel, fans will be given the chance to step up to the mic and voice in a series of scenes from anime such as The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, Gurren Lagann, Neon Genesis Evangelion and more.

How to Be a Voice Actor
“How do I become a voice actor?” This panel attempts to answer that question.
With hosts Kari Wahlgren and Kristi reed

Up to four teams of two people competing.

The Process - Adapting Japanese anime into English
A walk thru on how anime is adapted to English. Choosing one short scene of a popular anime, we will show it first as it was done in Japanese, and then show the video stripped of all audio and take audience thru the process of creating an English dub. The panel will consist of writer/director Kristi reed and voice actor Kari Wahlgren.

This should be good, I can't imagine the after party though, a bunch of people in brightly coloured costumes getting hammered at the bar, some of the people being somewhat under the legal drinking age.
