Okay so I was not one of the creators of this but I was asked to join in.
So I am passing it along to you, cosplayers of auckland. (mainly cause its being held in auckland....)

Wikipedia defines a flashmob as:
A flash mob is a large group of people who assemble suddenly in a public place, perform an unusual action for a brief time, then quickly disperse.

So the time has come. It's what we have all been waiting for. It's the time to have Auckland's first freeze Flash Mob! This one is expected to be the most exciting one so far!

This Flash Mob needs no introduction, but if anyone is unsure, we suggest you check out these links to other Flash Mobs that have been done all over the world -

Now it's time to show the world how a freeze should be done. We will be meeting at the Britomart Train Station (out of the way of any possible preci.... thunderstorms) at precisely 12:50pm on Saturday the 9th of August 2008.

Look for a guy wearing a yellow "Mornflake" baseball cap and stay within sight. Further instructions will be given from there. Please allow at least one hour for this one!

Also think about possible poses that you can keep frozen in for a couple of minutes, and remember, less is more.

So post if you think you can come :3 and if you need any details ask... (so I can ask)

I've been told probably about 5 minutes, but you can pose yourself so that you're sitting or leaning on something. :3

I'm pretty sure there will be some people recording it Very Happy

A hint for standing still for long times: If you have little to no upper body or lower body strength, don't hold out arms or legs unless you have something to lean then against.
