Hamilton Holiday Meet-up?

Well, the Hamilton gardens are always fantastic, if we can manage transport over to Ravin's too it'd be fantastic. I've been to his house several times, it's very people-friendly and he has a big tv ^^

Buses to mine would be simpler from town. I can drive people - but there's not enough room in one car. XD

I've been talking to Gwibby - she's saying she has to be home by Tuesday night, and I'll need to pack because I'm going to the South Island on Wednesday, so it seems Monday would suit a bit better. That ok with you, Rav?

Well, we could meet up somewhere in town for lunch and then head to Rav's for an otaku session? Either that or we can go to the gardens and catch a bus to town and then to his?

/can't do anything after about 4 on Monday so midday is a good time

Well, it's taken a while, but it seems that I've finally been roped into this ^_^"
It'd be good to meet you all (again, as the case may be), and I'm down for pretty much anything...
... Ignore how that sounds -_-
I think I'm a tad lazy/lacking in things to cosplay, but y'all should feel free.
More meet-ups shall be in order before the middle of the year; and the loss of RJ and I to Costa Rica and the US respectively ;_;

Seems more than half of us won't be cosplaying. And what if it rains? Gardens suck in the rain. XD But they're beautful when it's sunny...*sigh*

Yeah, some people can't be in total cosplay so that won't work for everyone but pics are fun anyway! I do think going to Rav's is a good idea because it gives us some entertainment besides ourselves ^^"

So I have to go now, but I'll be back tomorrow to finalise things after reading what you have to say :)

If any of you are uncomfortable with coming to a stranger's house, that's ttly okay. RJayne does seem intent on coming because she knows I play awesome games when she's there. XD

I have to warn you guys how awkward it will start out. Even if we're all cosplaying. Even if we're all hyper. There's still gonna be some intense awkwardness. That's why RJ suggested going to someone's house because it gives us something ELSE to focus on while we "bond" lol. But we could do something else I suppose.

Do some purikura, or other arcading, maybe? Hamilton isn't exactly exciting.

this sounds cool! Since my mum's over protective, there's a chance i won't be able to go back with you guys to Ravin's, unless i get stuff like address, phone number, etc....

Bonding is good~ So are distractions from awkwardness; I can be an awkward person to be stuck with. Apparently. XD
I think easiest might be FOOD and anime/gaming. Nice, simple, safe common ground ^_^ Monday looking the most likely?
