[A Kitten Game] Blind Love - Proposal

From around the web, far and wide, people have mentioned to me via various means that they would be keen for another round of the infamous "wicked thoughts" game...

A quick bit of history:
For those newish to the forum who have never quite had the pleasure of one of Kittens games "Wicked thoughts" was a game somewhat like an auction where one could "purchase" a date with their favorite player.
It lasted for a couple of years, but has since not been played for a while.

Now, I must confess a bit of surprise - during the last game, as with all things that have had a few incarnations, I thought that interest in the game may have waned, and that that would be the last game.
(It had also come to my attention that the rules were getting a tad bit unwieldy)

Now, as we all know that despite sucking at his own romantic life, kitty does indeed gain great amusement (shared for the benefit of all!) from meddling in other peoples lives, so he thought up a second game...

Thus I propose, "The Blind Date Game"!

Ok, so the game works as such:
A certain level of anonymity is required for this game, so I shall collect nominations via email (I conveniently have an email I had been using for spam for just this purpose - IWantToEatYourCrispyBacon@Gmail.Com) as I suspect my poor CNZ PM box is just way too full.

There will effectively be two sides to the game, a "Contestant", and a "Blind Date".

1. The Contestant, as you might imagine, is a known player, their name and a description will be posted, as will any (appropriate) pictures they desire as part of their contestants profile.
They are of course free to discuss their hopes and dreams for a wholesome union with their favorite blind date.

2. The Blind Date whom again as you might have guessed will be a person shrouded in mystery, all you will have to go on is a number and a description that should not give away who the person actually is.
I will be enforcing anonymity here as best as possible (expect creative editing), so no trying to give your self away! You are supposed to be a BLIND DATE! Think of it a bit like mafia you can post, but you cant run around screaming "ITS ME ITS MEEEEEEE!"

Now, all members on CNZ get ONE point per CONTESTANT to assign to a "Blind Date" who they think would make the perfect (or most amusing) union based on the information available - their descriptions, and a set of random and pointless questions (that will serve no purpose but to be entertaining).
Yes, Contestants/Blind Dates can vote as well, but they can not vote for them selves.

Periodically during the running time of the game (probably 2 to 3 weeks) I shall send out further random and meaningless questions to all the contestants, the details of which shall be posted up.

The denizens of CNZ will then have the opportunity to CHANGE their vote should they feel that a better union has come up!

Now, you can nominate your self to partake in either or both sides, or even nominate someone else (pending their approval), but at the end of the day, you can only exist on one side, not both.
I am also going to be looking at evening the sides out, and ensuring the game remains balanced, so If I move you from one side to the other (which I will of course mention before actually doing it) or decide to cut someone from the runnings in the name of the greater good, do not be offended (I dont see this as being likely, but should it become necessary...)!

Final:
There you have it! Rules are a lot simpler than WT, and it requires a slightly different approach because the only influence the players have on the denizens of CNZ is through their descriptions.
If you as a player are having any problems, send me an email rather than exploding on form.
I have the blessing of the mighty JVCA for this game!
We expect photographic evidence of said "dates" upon their completion!

Am I being dumb or is it infact possible for CNZ to vote a contestant to go on a date with themselves if the person enters both categories?

I suspected that might be the case, I hope that to a large degree this one will require less maintenance as there are not thousands of points to keep track of...
