NZAE Chch -> Dunedin roadtrip?

So it's getting close to NZAE and people are probably starting to think of how they're going to get down to Dunedin.
Last year we roadtripped with three cars (I think?) and I think that's probably a good thing to do again.

Like normal we'll leave around 9am Friday, arriving in Dunedin between 4/5pm. Then we'll leave Dunedin after the weekend on Monday /o/
SO if you're interested, put down your name and we'll see if we can match cars and drivers (because people to pay for petrol is always fabulous)
now- putting your name down on interested is NOT GOING TO ENSURE that you geat a seat in a car, okay? This all depends on how many cars we have.
If you're a driver and you're keen to take your car say so- also say if you've already given seats in your car to people and how many people you're happy taking.

I think petrol costs will be around $50pp? If petrol goes up this'll be more.

$50 is for return~ a tank of petrol is around $80-100 and we'll use near 2 for the whole trip I would think.
(so 4 people in the car = enough money~)

I think I guessed $125/CAR for the trip of awesome to DnDn, including running around DnDn, in the long long ago. And I was possibly a little light. Then petrol has gone up muchly. So $50pp for everything will make sure the driver is not out of pocket.

Hey!

I'm seriously keen for this and can chip in for petrol. However, I do have a wee problem - I'm staying with my sister and would need a ride to and from NZAE (My sisters flat is in town, but I would like to avoid walking down extremely steep streets in 5" heels orz). Also, I do have school on Friday :s (But I'm pretty sure I could get a early leave pass)

Would people be interested in a car going down later on Friday? Say middayish or sometime in the afternoon? Just for the people who can't get out of school or who are flying down from somewhere else?

@Riven-- It would be good to have a car leaving at say, 1pm or so-- getting out of one period of school that afternoon would be easy enough for me, but not a whole day.

I don't suppose I'd be able to have it so Meghan and I go one way back? I sorta wanted to be in Dunedin earlier so I've opted to fly down Friday morning, but we'll still need transport back.

Would there be room for us on the way back?

I guess I still have to confirm my arrangements, including accommodation and leave. But I am happy to go later (or earlier). I would allow four and a half hours, excluding fluff time collecting people and loading, etc.
