Been looking into cheap ways to get to Sydney central or the Opera House from airport. Seems that a shuttle is $15, but if anyone are game for epic journeys there's this transport option:

1. The 400 bus between Bondi and Burwood via the domestic airport. They seem frequent enough.
2. Transfer to ... Eh, a stop somewhere, to Opera house. While I do find Sydney public transport terrifying, I'm inclined to think that there as to be some at least toward Opera house.

Any Sydney vets here to give head ups?

Be very careful on the bus. Sydney public transport is horrible.

Honestly, after the concert I highly recomend a taxi. Sydney is NOT a friendly place after dark.

Going to concert will be at rush hour so prepare for crowds and even delayed public transport.

Oh. Haha, compared to Auckland I thought the Sydney transport was quite nice. Though I did just use the trains. <3 trains.
But yeah, taxi'ing it up would probably be the safest idea.
