Why don't they employ bus drivers that speak UNDERSTANDABLE ENGLISH. FOR PHYSICS SAKES.
Buses are crappy and I've never liked them. And being humiliated today does NOT help your cause, jackbutt.
Also, wtf. To go an extra 300 meters or so is another zone? What. I've been getting off at the stop just above my house for the past week, and now you, who I don't know, tell me it's too far and I have to pay more? Wtf. Fine then. Stop the bus at the stop at the bottom of the hill and tell me to get off. I don't give a physics anymore. I'll walk for an hour and a half to get home tomorrow. Screw you.

On the plus side, I just used my whole student allowance for the week, my whole $43 dollars to buy Kingdom Hearts 2 and lunch after my course. Yay. No more money for the rest of the week. My course related costs is slowly being bitten into because of how much I have to pay for buses a week.

Bad day is bad and I'm going to go cry in a corner out of frustration and humiliation for a while.

They have to cut off the stages somewhere... My stop is like that too. So I have one card where if I feel like it, I can walk, and another {which is only like, $4 extra} to get the bus right there.

Surely your allowance could cover transport costs & food? Since by the sounds of it you only bought lunch with it. Just buy stuff at a supermarket for the week? I dunno, I was told transport in Auckland is more expensive than chch, so I'm running on the assumption it is the same for you too.

Sorry if I'm being irritating, I just dunno why you're getting so worked up. >:

Dude, transport counts as a course related cost... sweatdrop

I don't understand why that's a bad thing? And if not having money worries you, start budgeting. I don't even get a student allowance, so in order to pay my bills ($40.90/week bus card, car insurance, aa membership), and save a little money (was saving for my uni fees, now that I've paid those I'm saving for a car), I only get about $30 'fun money' and $20 for food each week. It's just prioritising - if you wanna use the money you have for fun stuff then go for it - but then don't feel daunted 'cuz you got no money left. Razz

If it worries you, don't do it.

@Thread: Speaking of student allowances, Whats the average amount you can get, and can you also get accomodation suppliments ontop of that? I need to sort mine out for late december/early January :c moving to wellington is going to be amazing and scary at the same time.

maths teachers...i do every question in the exercises he gives us as homework and when he checks them for progress report he says i don't do enough...just because i write smaller than average and thus takes up less pages...

Stats test tomorrow >< I've forgotten the first stuff we did. Fml gotta cram tomorrow. I'm so scared I'm going to fail and I only barely got into this class.

Allowances are about $200/week, and you can get an accomodation supplement. In my masters I was on $240 all up, and couldn't earn another $180 before I would start losing it. $240 is a ludicrously enormous amount of money to live off if you live the Wellington Student life. Don't bother trying to sort it out now though, Studylink is working on this years stuff now and will just lose it all. Around October is about the earliest you should start. if you wait until Jan, you'll still get it, it will just take longer.

i am exhausted, and it's only ten to three.
been busy since i got up at 8.30am, and i'm only taking a 5min breather atm before i have to rush off again.
won't be done til like.. 7.30pm at the earliest, which means i get home at 8, 8.30.... and then i still have stuff to sort out (give it three hours at least) before i can go to bed.

I said this to my media studies teacher at school (who i update regularly on my Cosplay endeavors cause she always asks) and she.... well. she thought it sounded like a good idea...

Then I told one of my friends in my class (one who I've taken to Armageddon once and watched what I did and has seen many a picture.) and he said It needed to R16.

Today was suppose to be the busy day of packing/sorting/getting everything ready before I leave next Saturday. And what happens I get the flu. I hate being sick I hardly ever get sick. This sucks so much up all last night with a fever, hot cold chills all day today, light headed and general feeling crappyness. FML sad
