Black and White Movies?

Anyone else here watch black and white films, or am I just weird? My absolute favouritest film of all time (has been for the last 3 years, that's more than I can say about any other) is Shield and Sword (Щит и меч / Shchit i Mech) made in 1968. Anyone who's watched this won't be able to disagree that Alexander Belov (aka. Johann Weiss) is amazing. And because of this film I expect every guy named Johann to be good-looking.
I also like Seventeed Moments of Spring (Семнадцать мгновений весны) a lot, but it's not as... pretty.
And Horsefeathers (Marx brothers) is great, I could never get sick of it. 12 Angry Men is good too.

Schindler's List is a very well done film too, but I don't think that it quite qualifies as "black-and-white".

What are your favourite old films? If you have any?

Aww shoot, this is the reason why I watch TCM. <3 I am a HUGE Katherine Hepburn and Audrey Hepburn fan as well as Charlie Chaplin, Frank Sinatra, James Dean and Marlon Brando. chuu~!

I just love the old time sound and music.

My favourites are Adam's Rib, The Honeymooners, Modern Times, City Lights, Snow White (duuude, it totally counts), Gone with the Wind, Roman Holiday, Psycho....and thats all I can think of at the top of my head without spilling onto the colour films. I'll probably come up with more soon.

The first one that popped into my head was Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. No idea if it counts but I quite liked that film. Very Happy

I love black and white films and television shows. there's something different about them, but im just captivated by them. Can't think of any off the top off my head though

To Kill A Mockingbird is probably my favourite, but there are quite a few that I love.
