Cosplay Presentation to Phoenix - Wellington sci-fi/fantasy club

I've been hanging out with these guys a bit - they've given me free pre-release books to review, so they're all good by me. They're wondering if we, the Wellington cosplayers, would feel like doing some kind of presentation.

They're keen to have us either Wednesday 9 February or Wednesday 9 March 2011. But they need an answer soon (i.e. next week). This would not be an epic production - a more casual sit-down, chinwag. And a great chance to meet the club and to maybe snag some more cosplayers.

Anyone keen?

Ok. so this is in exactly one month!
I need volunteers to come along and do a several minutes talk about the sci-fi and/or fantasy aspects of a costume.
For example, not "I made this costume as a cosplay of X person from Y anime". More like "Cosplay X is an example of Y sci-fi principle and I like it because of Z." So design, concepts, history, historiography.

or just come along and give me moral support, that would be awesome too.
