[ACP11] How was your ACP this year? 8D (put your hand up if you got lost xD;; )

being late.. im learning slowly to not be late.. but im so good at it >.<
after this ACP i probably wont be late as much as i have been to past events. but otherwise it was good and fun and yeah i found my bench comfortable this year ^___^

Gah, that was so much fun. Fer srs. And the photo scavenger hunt was awesome ~ Even if it did take up the whole time....

Though I'm disappointed that nobody ate my sausage rolls and I had to take them home. :T

One of the Dawns here. I found some cosplayers on the walk there and found my way eventually by following them ^^;;

It was wonderful~! I made some new friends too! :3 Also dressing up Ting as Prince of Persia!mummy was hilarious. xD

ACP was pretty cool, though i was super tired and cold once it started raining.. But it was fun :) Thanks to all the guys who sat with us on Annie's tarpaulin and brought food bahahaha <3

^YES. probably for at least a day at both when I remake some parts of it~~DESU~~

I think the only food I had at the picnic were some Doritos. And someone's shoulder. I missed out on all those nice cupcaaaakes ;A;

To sound completely defensive, there was nothing wrong with the directions, just that nobody printed them off, which we should've suggested. {I got lost since I didn't print it off either.} We gave you a map, it's hard to get more specific. As for signs, I don't really know if we'd want to go that far... It might attract unwanted attention?

I didn't print a map and was fine finding the location. I did recheck the map before we left though - preparedness is key in all things.

I did muse the idea of writing ACP with an arrow in chalk at various crossroads could be an idea. But that can be tabled for next time if it's necessary. :p

Also i think the area we were in was referred as the heritage gardens on the signposts, but I couldn't find a map online that actually said that.

I took the map picture with me on my phone just in case, but in the end we could see the picnic from the road anyway.

I didn't think it was that hard to find it?

1. Spot brightly colored/strange clothed people going in one direction
2. Stalk
3. ????
4. PROFIT!!!

But then again, though I have terrible direction sense, I usually end up where I want to go because I wander around and get lucky.

I thought the event went really well! And even the weather was kind enough to keep up till the end of it~ Much fun was had, am keen to come back next year!

As for directions- the area was highlighted on a map. I'm not really sure what more could have been done :/ Considering how many people there were, I'm surprised some folks thought it was hard to find. If you're not familiar with an area, it's always best to get a map or concrete directions first.

heh . didnt have trouble finding the place because the domain would be considered my 2nd home after leaving my house (museum) XD
all though the brightly costumed peoples was hard to miss ^__^
and directions were easy enough to follow without a visual aid Razz

and generally i am 'that' awesome XD
