| Hi CNZ,
I am planning to do a Captain Cosplay form the Hellsing Series and I need help with make the gun. If any one has any tips or links to a tutorial or two, please tell me.
Thank you

(Note: I have added a pic, so hopefully this will be of any help.)

| I'm no expert at gun props, but here's what I would do (sort of)
Find a roughly luger shaped toy pistol (I love nerf toys - but I do 40K cosplays where the guns are chunky/cartoonish in shape) try and get one where the body + barrel are molded separately.
Unscrew the body of the gun (the screws tend to all on one side) and replace the barrel with a piece of thin pipe or doweling. It will probably be smaller in diameter then the barrel hole, so you will need to bog it with something (like knead-able epoxy, which you can get in the glue section at hardware places- it comes in tube)
Screw it together again (don't lose the tiny screws like I do!) and you have the basic shape
