Grell wig - Colour help

I'm very colour blind, constantly making threads on colour picking orz

anyway, I ordered a Grell wig a while a go

got it, compared it to the fabric I bought for his coat. Turned out too coppery-orange.
Ordered a second wig, arrived about 3 weeks later, was too dark/burgundy *facepalm*

Here's the wigs and fabric below

so my question is, should I
- just use one of these wigs?
- use one of these wigs, but buy new fabric so it works better with the wig colour
- buy a new wig? either this one or this one (though the first one looks quite close to the one I've ordered.)

when I ordered these wigs, I swear the colour wasn't so off to the fabric -______-;;

I'd probably say order a new one, but to save money your first wig looks closest?

Also, that second taobao wig looks so gorgeous!

I thought the first one looked alright but at second glance it does looks quite orangey.

Maybe if you're having this much trouble it might be easier to get a long blond one and just dye it?
Otherwise I'd probably lean more towards the FantasySheep one, as I know their wigs are awesome.
I was tempted to get that one for Kusaka a while ago xD

but yea the first one I reaally don't wanna use, I swear Grell's hair is darker than the coat. I know the musical Grell has burgundy hair though

It'd be great if colours of your two wigs could magically merge.
Then you wouldn't have to buy a new one. :T
Hmmm.. I'm not sure, would buying a new wig cost more or less than the fabric?

the fantasy sheep one ... the cutting is also really good ...

but looking at the wigs youve got already the copper one would probably work though it would clash with the fabric a bit XP

@Ducky: thats a good point........ I think........... fabric will cost..... about the same for his coat.... possibly

@Alena: yea, I don't mind style the wig cause I have fun with it xD I guess I could look around for some fabric, maybe some darker stuff for the burgundy wig. Atleast my glasses are dark~

I'd give dying the coppery one a go or buy a new one. If it's a costume you're super picky on, you don't want to be sacrificing things such as colour unless you do want to do the musical version.

also a good point. I just don't wanna waste such a nice burgundy wig (are there any characters with such hair??)

dyeing 130cm is......................................... hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm I suppose it would be possible. So would I be dyeing it with a diluted burgundy? or dark red? (is that possible?)

I've always thought the first wig colour has always looked really nice on Grell cosplayers xDDD

You would probably have to order an obviously bright red wig to get a closer colour - I think lots of the character specific wigs are all a colour more like your first wig.
