So I have leftover red fabric left and I wanted to create Penelo with it, problem is I have no frikken clue how to go about keeping the shape of her pants. I can pattern the top of the pants but the bottom needs to keep the shape, how do you even keep that shape?

you and your revealing costumes XD The only thing I could think of would be making the pattern big as hell along the bottom and gathering the sugar honey iced tea out of them.

hmmmm, the fabric looks really light though, maybe use stiff fabric as the lining and put darts in the bottom cause it doesn't have that 'bunched' up look.

I suggest the same thing as Casey, just making them really massive and then gathering them in-- that's what I did for my Motochika pants, and they're similarly huge. :3
