SPCC HELLISH music video CONTEST!

Hey all you talented merrymen and wimminz - we have an AWESOME, EXCITING, HOPEFULLY QUITE GORY competition to announce! We have discovered that at the venue for the xmas party there are a couple of display screens. Upon these screens we would like to screen some spooky, bloody, suitably nightmarish videos, and thought hey! let's give away a membership or two and let other people do all the work! Very Happy

So, put your heads together (or hands, whatever; we're not fussed) and come up with a music video no longer than five minutes, and with a theme of hell, or something suitably monstrous. You may have christmas-ish elements, but we're shooting for more halloween/horror please!

PRIZES...

- a 1 year SPCC membership for you, and an additional membership for someone of your choosing!
- a framed print by Little-Noise Photography!
- something else! We haven't sussed it all out yet, but it will be pretty cool. ;D

FILE SUBMISSION...

Please upload your video as an .avi, .mpg or .mov to Rapidshare, Fileserve, or something similar - DO NOT email them please! Rather, email the link to spcc @ cosplay.org.nz no later than midday on Wednesday 24th November. Judging will take place that evening, and winner/s will be announced on the night of the party! You can enter if you won't be AT the party, but please let us know in your email so we know not to look for you :)

RULES...!!

- AMVs are welcome!
- Keep it PG13 please, we have little'uns in attendance. Of course to me, you're all little'uns, but you know. No parental rage in our direction thanks!
- NO LONGER THAN 5 MINUTES.
- No entries will be accepted after the cutoff time, so please be prompt!
- You may enter more than one video - that is fine!
- You don't have to be a Wellingtonian or come to the party to enter, just let us know in advance. It will also make your framed photo a bit hard if you're not present to have your picture taken! Keep this in mind :)

I verily much wanted to enter, but video editing is time consuming - a bit more notice next year perhaps? Very Happy
