CNZ Christmas Card exchange, 2010!

So I just bought a 30-pack of Christmas cards and want something to do with them - so I have an ~*ideaaaaa*~. Why not do a list of people interested in swapping Christmas cards? Very Happy

I don't wanna be doing heaps of admin, so here's how this is going to work:

1) post in thread if you're interested and I'll add you to the list.
2) once you're on the list, PM anyone you'd like to send a card to with YOUR address, saying you'd like to swap cards.
3) so long as they feel comfortable with it, they will give you theirs in return, and then you can send each other a card! Very Happy

A few rules:
1) do NOT post your address in thread! Internet safety 101 is never to post any personal details online. Even if you trust CNZers, as a public forum we have no guarantee that there are no nasty people lurking the forums (ohnoes!). So please, for your own safety - don't post it here. :3
2) don't take offence if someone declines to give you their address. It takes a lot of trust to give out your home address to someone, and if they don't trust you enough to give you their address it doesn't mean you're a bad person - it just means you're a stranger on the internet and they don't know you. chuu~!

And no, they don't have to give you an explanation either.
3) don't give out other people's addresses! They're not yours to give out, and if they want to share their address, they'll do it themselves. :)
4) don't send anything that might get them in trouble with their parents! Just because their parents shouldn't read their mail doesn't mean that they won't and I'd hate for anyone to get grounded coz of this! sweatdrop

5) Make sure you put the right postage on the envelopes! Having to pay for letters being sent to you coz they don't have the right postage sucks, lol.
6) I reserve the right to add more rules.

Oh, RE the postage thing. Stamps no longer have numbers on them, so if you're sending locally and it's just a regular sized envelope and all that, then one stamp is all you need! I've been sending letters all up and down the country lately on one stamp each, so yeah :] Isn't that great?

Haha, @Li_Bai that's only for Kiwistamps. It still costs 60c if you're using a denominated (sp?) stamp. :)

RE Postage: The thing to watch out for with christmas cards are the dimensions - if you exceed the standard letter dimensions then it's two kiwi stamps.
