Doujin just means fan, or self publishing. The genre varies, from cute stuff to hentai.

But, I would think that they'll keep it pretty clean since I went last year and I saw no yaoi/yuri, etc.

doujinshi written as 同人誌 literally translated from kanji "same person to write"

it is fan-made manga and sometimes based on an original stroyline with characters

this event is basically to allow such people who draw/make such manga/artwork sell their things as well other events like cosplay and such

go wikipedia or google "comiket" which is shortened from Comic Market which is a major doujinshi event that happens twice a year at the Tokyo Dome, one in summer one in winter

and yes doujinshi can include various types of hentai as the creator wishes his/her pairings but not alwayss

Actually, I think last year or the year before iunno, well, when I first thought of Doujin, I believed it to be only Yaoi/Yuri and Hentai.
I wish I knew how and why I thought it was focused on them...
