How it works:
(Note: we will be playing small chess, so no this isn’t a game that’ll take hours, more like 15-30 minutes.)
On a giant chess board, all pieces (from pawns to kings) will sit on their equivalent starting squares.
Two ‘players’ will play a chess match, and when they make a move, will tell the piece (you), where to go, (i.e Naruto move two squares forward.)
When one piece takes over another, an ‘in-character’ battle scene occurs, with the loser being the piece that is taken, and who ‘dies'' in a dramatic way.

Information:
Note: There is a lot of planning/plotting and organizing going into this, so we may PM some pieces with important designated roles.
Notes: This is known as small chess, the mat is a little different and there are less players needed. 20 pieces total, + 2 players, + extras and summons TBA)
~ You do not need to know how to play chess to be a piece, as you will be given instructions on where to move, who to fight etc.
~ You will need to pre-plan your epic little fight/win/death scenes, (unless we PM you and designated a special role) if you are not sure what type of moves to make, discuss here for ideas from others, or PM me and we can plan.

Signing up:
~ When you sign up, please say the character you are cosplaying from and what the show is. This is essential as I'd like to try and make this as in-character as possible. I may PM you to discuss further, especially if we want to assign you a special role.
~ Tell us you are confirmed or just a maybe (for whatever reason.) We don’t want people to back out on the day as a piece missing would kill the game.
~ Once we have enough people keen and can confirm we will be running this event, we will assign you what piece you will be - this depends on what theme the game is, and what character you are cosplaying as. At least thats the plan XD

Cosplay:
~If you want to play but are afraid can't make/find/get a cosplay on time, please still let us know you're keen.
