| I really liked it!! I thought it was really faithful and liked how the zombies weren't too in your face scary since in the comics the real thing to worry about is other people/human nature rather than zombies which are there to highlight those issues. I loved the flies everywhere! I was complaining while watching it that zombie movies never have flies or people being like 'Holy mother of god, this place stinks' and then it showed a close up of a corpse with flies all over iT I was so happy I actually watched it twice this week. Normally I wait months before rewatching TV episodes since otherwise I find them boring but it was just as good the second time around. I can't wait until Monday. Also, I love the character they picked to play Rick (all the characters seem well cast actually). He has a really good and believable scope of emotions. I really hope this is sucessful! I would be so sad if it ended after one season. The music (and lack of) was really effective as well. I AM SO EXCITED FOR SUNDAY!!!!!! |

| it was disturbing and gross. I really enjoyed it after I gave up and did not quibble about the plot holes. |

| Now that we're three episodes into it...
WHERE IS ALLEN?! HE WAS ONE OF MY FAVOURITE CHARACTERS IN THE COMICS. FFFFFFUUUUU--
Still liking the show, although some of the actors get up my nose. Glenn makes up for it, though (so far the only really likeable character, in my opinion).
- Spoiler:
Also, that 'encounter' in episode three between Rick and Lori in the tent... with their son a metre away... oh god, that poor kid. And that thing with Carol and her husband. That was hard to watch.

WAIIII... Yeah, I think Prime is the only channel that will pick it up (maybe channel 1, but it's doubtful TVNZ would go for something so gory). It would be a stretch for any free-to-air channel in New Zealand to take it on to be honest, but I'm sure it'll show up on Sky one day.
I can't believe it's rated 14 and above in the States. SO MUCH GORE. Torso zombie... god. |
