I was talking to one of my workmates about this film on Monday. He advised me to stay away from it.

So completely ignoring his advice, a friend and I spent the hour's trip to Christchurch yesterday just to watch it.

I ended up finding it quite funny. Probably not as funny as I hoped, but still funny nevertheless. But hey, if you're prepared to see a movie about a gay dude, then you should be prepared for the contents of said movie.

Hahaha, me and my friend went to see it the other day.

We didn't think we would get in cause of the age, but they didn't ask for I.D or anything. Some of it was a bit gross, but funny

But the other people watching were laughing at things... and I didn't get what was so funny ...

Anyways, it was alright : )

I don't think it's either of them...

If you're familiar with the likes of Ali G and Borat, then you sort of know what to expect. Sacha Baron Cohen did play Ali G, Borat and Brüno respectively.

I'm gonna see this at some point.
But not on the big screen.

Someone showed me a clip from the movie, and it ended with my running away yelling, "OH GOD, MY FORMERLY-UNTAINTED EYES" (or words to that extent, but being unappropriate for the forum)

So, no big screen for me.

Never saw Borat, but I vaguely remember Ali G and it had some pretty comedic moments.

But some gay people would get offended, because some of them wont actually act like Bruno and do all that stuff.
Oh, yeah. I forgot about the Nazi stuff, I thought it was funny.
But yeah, that would offend some people.
And when he was racist and stuff, like at the end when he said North & South Korea should stop fighting cause they're both basicaly Chineses.
I'm not racist, but I thought that was funny !
