Hello CNZ

I am Orthien from Hamilton but most people just call me Orth.
I have come to CNZ through a referal to you all from RPF in the hopes to meet some NZ cosplayers and pick your brains on local places to get quality supplies.

I am only just getting into Cosplay and Prop making but they have long been an interest of mine.
I am also a very long time fan of all things Anime/Manga, Sci fi and Fantasy.

I look forward to getting to know you all and stealing your knowledge.

This has a few links to casting tutorials, if you're just looking into getting into it. If you do need help, do start a thread here, as a lot of people have done casting. But make sure to search around, as you'll find a lot of questions have been answered.

If you were just asking out of curiousity, then yeah. quite a lot of people have cast in resin. Only recently did a friend and I cast in silicone, but before that I had only used latex.
