How was your Auckgeddon? 8D

It was great!

Meet and spoke to many people. (Would not have spoken to anyone with out cosplying)

I found it interesting that several parents would force their kids to pose with us(Naruto). Seems like it was the parents wanting the photo.

Also it appeared there were more male cosplayers this time.

I have many photos and some videos. I expect to post those when I have had time to sort though them. By this weekend I hope.

Regrets U.U:
- not being able to cosplay lightning, i really really really wanted to do it, even though there were at least a bajillion other better outfits.
- not having enough money
- ~~not getting the $15 8 dvd hentai~~ I MEAN NOT GETTING MY TWIM'S DVD SHE WANTED. OmO
- not getting comfortable enough shoes
- NOT GOING ON SUNDAY DUE TO TRYING TO FIX THE RUINED JACKET AND SKIRT. /rant

lolol, yup, his outfit was nice and crisp, and looked good - he wore it well.
Think the poor chap was a bit intimidated by all of us (looked soo shy~!), you made a sweet couple.

It's so awesome seeing guys who are actually guys cosplaying as guys (not that there's anything wrong with crossplaying, but it's refreshing to see so many non-crossplaying male characters. XD)

@Casey- He did it all, I just pointed him in the right direction :) Like the 2 bags on his sides was actually one bag that he cut in half and made into 2 bags. Genius cosplayer in the making I think. XD

@Kitten- Yeah he said afterwards he hoped no one thought he was weird, he's just shy and not used to photos. But he had a good time cosplaying, so I'm happy! Hehe.

Oh oh! And did you guys see my dad as Crocodile Dundee?

Darn I had to leave early... but did he bring a knife with him? I so wanted him to do the "that's not a knife.... THIS is a knife" scene.

@Roy- yeah, all these parents pushed their- nearly crying- kids in front of us for photos too!

I enjoyed catching up with the people I only get to see up to twice a year. Geddon is always way funner when youre in costume. Even if you wear boots that are a size too small that kill your toes.

Also finding out I inspired someone to give cosplay a go after seeing my Joker cosplay in the paper last year.

Oh and the engineer giving me a pair of welding goggles. There were honestly so many nice people about.

He does have a big knife, but I told him to keep it at home so it wouldn't get taken off him. I'm so glad Dad got so much attention, good to see everyone still loves the older classic characters Very Happy

Even though he pretty much dresses like that everyday anyway haha~

Nah, we all started out somewhere, Im chure soon enough he will be attention seeking like the rest of us... Considering everyone else, "Weird" really is a matter of perspective!

It was so much fun! I only went Saturday and I was soooo sad that I wasnt there for sunday and monday sad

Last year was my first Armageddon that I went to but it wasnt that fun. The people that I went with told me that no one dresses up and that I would look like a Richard if I went in cosplay. THEY LIED!

Lets see, not one night of eight hours sleep on a week and a half, but better than last time.
I told myself I would start early next time, yeah right.
Being late three out of three days due to still sewing the obi/webbing together. Then resowing it after it fell off.
Taking a random joker home for the night.
The costumes are getting more awesome each year.
More groups?
Not just more males, but lots more cosplayers overall.
Staying at the burger king two nights till past closing, in cosplay, both with a drunk person in the group. Ate there three nights.
Going to the maid cafe twice, playing cluedo there. Meeting Nadiah and Comban randomly in town. Spending time with Lisa in town.
Going up early and back late, feels like a holiday as well as a con.
The Leek.
Seeing my Aunt and Cousin.
The totally crazy weather on Thursday!!!!!!!!!!!
Meeting Ash, the Auzzie again. She is like awesome.

Yes Blossom, very good news, was worried.

Nah, he was normal. Of course we aren't normal, but most of use are a mix of shy and hyper all con.

Croc Dundee was awesome. Got my photo the first day. Recently I have been thinking of all these old school cosplays.
Maybe next year we could do something together? Maybe?
