[NCP] TARANAKI COSPLAY PICNIC~! Bad weather venue in place!

January 18th 2011

11am onwards

Place: Pukekura park children's playground. If weather is bad meet at the opposite end of the park at the Bowl or Brooklands!!! It's near the zoo!!!
BRING A PLATE!!! As food is good. We don't want it to all be a chip fest so do try and bring something that isn't just chips xD
Come dressed in Cosplay but as all cosplay picnics this is not a must.
This is a family event and we will be in public space please keep that in mind~
Parents are welcome as this is a family friendly event.
If you are not from taranaki you may want a map of the park There is a link at the bottom of this post that you can download a PDF map for your viewing. The childrens playground is located at point 3 near the top of the map.

If you want to kill time I'm sure you could hang around while waiting for the lights to come one 8D
There will be organised games too. with prizes~ I'm sure you don't want to miss it.

Because we all know New Plymouth is here to look pretty why not take pretty cosplay pictures.

Alright guys~ this sounds like it's gonna go ahead. I think it would be apporiate to think of a good time for you. As far as I know I'm avalible to do anything after the very last day of exams. But I'd like to keep this picnic after Christmas, anytime during the holidays is fine with me. I'll update the first post but please tell me times that suit you~

After Exams...Late January~ Yesh.

How about the 18th of January. That's when people should be heading back from their south island endeavours. I'm just wondering is all I'd like to get a nice solid date up soon. As my holiday plans for Hamilton are bearing on me =.=

Anywho yeah there's a waterfall there...Lit up by changing coloured lights at night. It's pretty cool~ And my friends were silly enough to put a drum set there one day/night I forget. It was pretty funny. The fernery at night is also pretty cool (With their "Glow worms" lol)
And there's a black light area in the children's play ground.

There are so many good photo ops in New Plymouth. I suppose that's why Pukekura park is the most expensive property on the monopoly NZ edition xD

The more the merrier I say. 8D
