To deep to feel it, but now we've had one just off Wellington.

Napier area has just had two earthquakes as well xD. One was 5.2.

I think my mum may have felt the Welly one ... She at least asked me if I felt it. Oh, turns out mum's workers were talking to people who record them when it struck, and they thought the guy was joking xDD

Don't worry JP. I live in the curfew zone and the army guys/police are actually really accommodating about the whole situation. They'd understand what you have to do. On Saturday night I had to go pick someone up from the airport; left about 9:30 and got back about 11, and they were fine with us driving through places.

Ahh, sweet. Thx for that. I'm printing out an extra copy of our accommodation booking form for Static just in case. :)

Also, another Wellington one. Basically same place as the last one, and too deep to really feel.

epicentre 20km south west - under the water.

Also if anyone wasn't nervous yet.

Edit: PS - 1 is actually pretty minor. Apparently the scale goes 0 (dormant) to 5 (erupting). I think at least one of the above is usually erm.. not at rest.

Also, the fact that the volcanoes are becoming uneasy with all the eartquakes is really worrying. =/

Apparently the cathedral is getting more cracks too because of the aftershocks D:

For website, are you talking about GeoNet, Pura? If you are then, it hasn't been recording/updating properly today, only the past hour has it been in fact adding aftershocks from this morning. So it might not have been your imagination - also GeoNet only records quakes/shocks that are 3 and above.

No one at work is happy. Everyone is tired. Saw Halswell today. Sand geysers everywhere. Roads cracked and lifted. Still nothing compared to the east and north.

The news just said this will carry on for weeks. People will be so short tempered by them. We will probably get so tired we sleep through everything.
