[Other] Amazon.jp group order

Order has been placed! I'll be sending out PMs on payment methods in a bit! You wouldn't guess... $580 was the total.... xD $141 of this was shipping!

So, My brother and I were interested in buying some stuff off Amazon.co.jp.... only if their shipping wasn't a killer.

So what Basaka usually does with this friends is that they pile into a group order. It typically works out about $10 shipping per item. Much cheaper than $60 something dollars... lol.

So here I am, gauging interest to see how many people would want to buy something off Amazon.jp. Once it arrives we can send it via NZpost to your house, or Geddon if the order somehow happens before then.

You can order CDs, books.... etc, but some things are restricted, like video games. Razz

Any takers?

EDIT: thought from a cursory glance around, none of them seem to be able to be shipped outside japan. :/

I won't be ordering until we get enough orders to balance out the shipping cost.

Having said that, I'll be going overseas on Nov 21st... so after that I'll just get it sent to someone else on the list's house (or something) and they can distribute it. :3

Additional information:

Amazon.jp is ONLY ABLE to ship BOOKS (manga, novels, artbooks etc.), CDs and DVD/BDs.

Shipping rate (since we will be getting books): 2700 yen base, + 300 per item (see why we have group shipping?)

Exchange rate as of now: 1:61.7 (omfg it was 62.4 yesterday ;A;)

Upper purchase limit: $1000 or Customs start charging us 15% GST.

There are also some restrictions on what type of books they can ship but most won't apply to NZ orders.

We're ordering off the Japanese Amazon, not the American Amazon :p

@Jizzoka: Both can be gotten, but theres only one of the manga left, so if someone takes it, it won't come in time for Geddon.

Tokyo Babylon - On backorder, will require ~1week of processing.

@Icarus; there's an artbook for the anime on there, though some googling says the manga version one isn't on amazon.jp because its all sold out or something?

@Azeria Amazon.co.jp does not have any new Komatta Toki ni wa Hoshi ni Kike! mooks. So you can only buy them from sellers in the marketplace section... if you're lucky some sellers offer international shipping options, but none of the available has that option. sad

So you're out of luck, I'm afraid!

@Icarus yep, those are books and they can be shipped! :)
The Tsubasa one has 3 in stock left, but Amazon says they'll be ordering more soon.
As for the Pandora Hearts, seems like they have lots of stock left.
