Favourite Anime Movie Of All Time?!

Either Princess Mononoke or Spirited Away, both were absolutely brilliant. Spirited away made me cry lots, it was so sad, I felt sad for Chihiro. But she was so brave xD

Also, Advent Children was reasonably awesome. Although I'm probably just saying that because I love Final Fantasy, and the fight scenes were just too cool.

Though I think Advent Children is really awesome too. (I have yet to actually play FFVII though. xP)

Yes, you should definately try to play FFVII tho, if you enjoyed Advent Children, you will (probably) enjoy the game too. And it makes AC's plot make sense! Razz

Probably Paprika. Excellent film. I sometimes feel that Satoshi Kon only continues to improve while Ghibli is sort of flat lining.

The original Ghost in the Shell, Ah! My Goddess, End of Evangelion, Urusei Yatsura Movie 2 are all good as well. .Hack//GU Trilogy was good, but more for the visuals.

I've never played Final Fantasy *gasp*, but I really enjoyed Advent Children. Spirited Away and Howl's Moving Castle are cool, I almost thought it was a sequel/prequel cos the style was so similar!

And I agree with lololizzie, Girl Who Leapt THrough TIme was cool~

I didn't really like Totoro, to be honest. >< Little girl was too whiney, despite being entitled to be whiney. Totoro himself was amazingly cute, and the soot sprites were entertaining, but Mei totally killed it for me. >_>; [shot down]

Spirited Away.
Its so common, but it was my first anime movie that I knew was anime, and I love the music.
I'm determined to buy it soon.

I also love Whisper of the Heart. It's so sweet.

I liked Kiki's Delivery Service, but I only saw the first half because the DVD player threw a fit.

I'm surprised no-one has mentioned Ghost in the Shell or Ghost in the Shell: Innocence. They're absolute CLASSICS.

Them and Akira. Great mix.

Favorite movie of all times would definitely be FF7AD

Best anime series Is a little harder but I think it is clannad, though I really loved World Destruction and Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann

Mine will probably be xxxHoLiC: A Midsummer Night's Dream.
It was really short (like 30 mins) so it was more of a extended episode, but I just LOVE the stories from xxxHoLiC, they're just so mysterious how they peer into an ugly spiritual point of view fo everyday things. So cool~

Also there's Howl's Moving Castle, Turnip~ <3

Hmmm...My favourite anime movie would be One Piece: Baron Omatsuri and the Secret Island. I've seen it like...10 times? I definitely recommend this one to One Piece fans who hasn't seen any of the movies yet.

But I also liked Tokyo Godfathers, Perfect Blue, Laputa: Castle in the Sky and Ghost in the Shell. And oh, Evangelion 1.0 You Are (Not) Alone. :3

I have the clamp double movie xxxholic A Midsummer Night's Dream/ Tsubasa birdcage kingdom
and holic is 100mins tsubasa is 36mins..

My top is mononoke-hime ( i got the collectors edition when i was in japan ^^) and the Tsubasa movie is probably 2nd best closely followd by GITS.

The 6th and 9th One Piece movies. 6th does beat out 9 in a little bit in story but both are massive eye-candy and I love them dearly (and movie 10's going to be amazing)

...the other OP movies aren't that great, though.

I like the FMA movie to a degree, and Miyazaki's work too.

I've watched the 1st and 2nd Bleach movies and admittedly liked the 1st more, but the 3rd one looks interesting (though I wouldn't rate the two I've seen as good compared to the other anime ones listed above).
