AMV Making Tutorial Day- 9th

This is now gonna be on Wednesday afternoon through evening, to about 10 PM, at which point you'll have to make your way home~

If you'd like to practice any techniques I show during dinner or when we take breaks, you can bring your own laptop to fiddle around on.

Most of my teaching will be to do with the theory of editing, as different programs have different ways you go about piecing together the clips, and I only have experience with WMM and SV.

Anyone that wants to come will have to bring some money along to buy dinner.

I've got a schedule planned out already, so we'd be making everything to time.

EDIT: Some other details...

We have one black labrador in my household (a very large one, at that) but for the dog-phobic she can easily be kept in my mum's room down the other end of the house.

The dog-allergic might have to sit this one out, however. ^^;;

You must arrive at my house between 2 and 3 on the day, and I'll be starting the tutorial at 3. If you're late, you might miss vital points... Unlikely, though.

Windows Movie Maker, and trials of other programs.

I have a complete mastery of WMM, it could be said, as I've had Vegas users tell me that my AMVs have better effects and storytelling than theirs. xO

I'm going to be making an examplar Ouran High School Host Club one, to display some elements of AMV making, and then everyone will be creating a Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann AMV together through the evening and practicing application of techniques.

Ummm, guys, the Lan is on Friday - Saturday, not Saturday - Sunday

But A Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann AMV would be totally awesome

So, that means you all have NO EXCUUUSE~

But yeah, the Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann thing is to put one subjective piece of AMV making into view, because it won't work with any other shows I have on my laptop. x3

Said piece of AMV making theory might make several people kill me for telling them what happens, but screw them- in AMV making, you must have a heart of frozen salmon. FROZEN SALMON, I SAY!

nah trust me.

When a Sony Video editing software suite can't open the avi files that a Sony hard drive camera records, it means someone's screwed up big time.

Its quite a good program, but it could be much much better.

Unfortunately i haven't found anything better yet. (but im sure its out there)

May not be able to come- Got a Friend's birthday party on the same day

Don't want to go to the Friend's Birthday- Because they have plans to get 'pissed' or rather ' drunk'..
