Au Contraire Subforum?

Dear mods,

Would we be able to scrounge up a subsection for Au Contraire? Au Contraire itself doesn't actually HAVE a forum so we can't just move our organisation over there Very Happy

Au-Contraire is just this year's Sci-fi con- it travels and changes name each time :) Next year it's in Auckland so if there is a sub forum it might be best to be more generic? That way it'll have use beyond this year :)
Or maybe world events could be other conventions in general? That way the various larp and other large NZ events that attract people from over the country could be put there?

Good point, I was being short sighted there.

I'm not familiar with how complex these forums are from the back-end, how tricky would it be to set up an "Other NZ Events" subforum and run it like the "User run events" sub-section - that when a new event pops up that more than a few of us are going to, we can put in a request for a sub-forum that gets emptied into "Past events" a reasonable time after the event.
I've thrown more than a few events into the "Random" and "Plugging" section because I think people might enjoy them and they were costuming and cosplay related.
