It's okay, I found some free software (Tux Guitar) that I might give a go.

Would we be able to use one of the amps for the microphones?

@ shiro we'll definitely be doing the competition at this rate, so yeah you might want to tell your friends to start looking for wigs.

I think the limit is 3 or 5 mins? For the competition we'll probably end up just 'playing' one or two songs, which will be our top one.

Go Go Maniac is really fun on bass... And now there are so many songs I want to play ;-;
We'll see how the vote goes. Umm I live about 5mins away from lolixNYAFUUN but I might not be able to host because there won't be enough room for a whole aand in the lounge... Maybe shiro or one of her friends?

On the Armageddon website it says there will be a small area for non-stores to participate- I'll email them tomorrow about it =D.

~ btw, how's everyone going with learning the songs?

I've learnt all of DSL and Cagayake!GIRLS - and most of Fuwa Fuwa time + teh opening riff of My Love is a Stapler :3 (on guitar, of course <3)

If we all know enough songs, we could start organising a meet up and practice the ones we know? Unless we all need more time to learn the notes~? And if anyone's got exams or unexpected tests (just finished mine 8D) than we can always organise around that?

On bass I've learnt...
-Cagayake girls, but I haven't gotten the hang of the bass solo yet. (I'm so proud I've mastered the main bass tune!)
-Don't Say Lazy, still fumbling a bit with the riff in the bridge.
-Fuwa Fuwa Time
-Fudepen Ballpen (but only the short version kinda off by ear)
-Listen!! (kinda by ear)
-GO! GO! MANIAC very slowly...

By the way guys, I e-mailed the armageddon people today about if we could perform, where we could perform, if it would cost anything, etc. Fingers crossed!

I've got all my tests at the end of this term, so maybe holidays would still be the best time to meet-up. I'll re-ask my parents about having it at my place, and I can ask Shiro through facebook.

COOL! Let's make it like - not too early. What time do you guys think you'll be at 'Geddon?

Just put the description as something like: Band performance - consists of five members - need enough room for drum set - will be playing (bla bla bla) songs that will take up (bla bla bla) amount of time. Need lighting and it doens't matter indoor or outdoor, unless you guys prefer a certain one - and how many plugs we'll need etc? I think I've got some extension cables lying around somewhere too?

EDIT: Have we decided on which songs? because I'm too lazy to learn them all - and they need to know how much time we'll take up.

wow! a lot has happened! ><

tbh i have only learnt DSL...... but!!!!! I'll learn the others as quick as i can.... I'm quite quick at learning stuff so dw.... ill be able to learn it in time for rehearsals (hopefully)

DSL i'm quite good at though because i performed that while singing for my music class? so i'm algoods for that song.... thats partially the reason why i wanted to do it^ but im fine with just playing guitar too, because the guitar part is fun anyway! ^^

don't expect much of my guitar performance though!!! they're quite basic chords!

so we're doing competition + performance? definitely? O____O

lol so excited

sorry, i can't do my place because it's quite small.... not much space to rehearse and stuff.. ><

also me and the keyboardist tried to synchronising DSL and it sounds really good! and also today i learnt fuwa fuwa time, well i couldn't find any good tabs so i just transcribed and ITS REALLY EPIC! i was wondering if i could sing in that...? OwO

also wat songs are we doing? like a definite list???

Sounds good, those are defiantely two songs we'll be doing. You should be able to learn some more, since we're not meeting up 'till school holidays.
I can also get us the other amp (for mic) 'cause my friend's gonna lend my hers, so I don't need to get another one.

Shiro - make sure you're learning the full songs! And you should be able to sing Fuwa Fuwa Time :).

Am also waiting to decide on what songs we're playing~! I got my uniform delivered from ebay >:3 mai Yui-ness is ready!
