| Actually, any game/trading card store, like Vagabonds will carry them. Prices vary from lucky cheap buys to expensive. It's kinda based on luck. |

| I shouldn't have walked into Vagabonds today, couldn't resist picking up a Magic Fatpack. =/
Then went to GNC and bought a megami for a friends birthday, lol.
Vags and JB has good deals, with some being cheaper than the other. Just go between them =) |

| I understand. When you see the DVDs you cant resist buying a few and then you run out of money. I just looked around the shop and saw some great prices (sadly being a uni student I dont have the money lol) |

| I'm surprised noones mentioned Gamesman yet. Gamesman got erm. 'merged' with EB Games a while back, but the old stores that 'were' Gamesman still stock anime. The stores that were EB don't. |

| ^They don't call 'em Gamesman like Tana Umaga used to U.U I think the New Lynn Gamesman still sells anime and manga, I picked up a Fruits Basket manga volume for $11.50 but that was a while ago.
Erm, GNC on Shortland Street sells cheap anime DVDs, Vagabonds at the SkyCity Metro on Queen Street sells cheap anime DVDs too and they stock regularly and they have just started selling boxed manga. If you're into hentai, they have that too >.>;;
You can order some cheaply on Trademe and pickup is an option to save costs. As of now...I think GNC is the cheapest and nearest University of Auckland if you go there. Vagabonds have DVDs ready available to order and they ring you up when its come through. JBHIFI has cheap anime, but if you look in the bargain bin, they don't sell Vol. 1 of any collection and they have set release dates for new anime. (Although D.Gray Man vol. 3 they said was already released, last time I checked they didn't shelve it O.o;;) Borders has a wide variety of manga, but their anime is fewer than the above stores. Borders also stocks Tokyopop graphic novels (Bizenghast~~ <3) and a few strawberry-type manga (yuri) and yaoi. Theres also Real Groovy on Queen Street. They stock few manga and anime, but I found some surprise anime that hasn't been shelved in the above stores. (its to your right of the store when you come in) |
