I love Firefly and Serenity, and I know a few on here do as well ;D

So lets make a group!! Very Happy

Kaylee: Kari(Shindig Dress), Rocky

Other Firefly/Serenity Characters:

There can be more than one of each Character, just has to be different versions ;D ie 1 Kaylee in Shindig Gown and one in Overalls Very Happy

So if you want to be in the group, tell us which version you wanna do Very Happy

Also, wouldn't it be cool, if we got a Big Damn Joss Whedon Heroes Group? As in at least one hero from each of this Shows.... Very Happy

Look on page 3! Look for the update message. There are plenty of people interested, we just need to hammer down a time/place we are all available. I guess who goes will depend on availability. I think we will eventually have enough people to form a partial group any place/time.

Well I may be able to do Auckland 2010, but suspect we may be looking at 2011 for most people? Like I said I may be able to get a browncoat if we ever do this at ChCh.

The other thing after Welly remind me to start a campaign to get Bill to screen the very new Browncoats Redemption movie. And see if we can import some DVD's to sell.

Hey I remember you are going to DragonCon, where it is going to be released. So you will be one of the first to see it!

River's still free?!?! I thought she was super badass and would've been one of the first to be taken? XD
I'd like to do her, cz shes cooooooool.. And bcz Summer Glau is Eurasian, like me XD
But i've never seen Firefly or Serenity :/ Even though my brother's such a huge fan and has got them all on dvd..

Aww yeah, Inara. There's no way I could do it this year. But I'm pretty keen, of course.

Summer Glau had been on Buffy twice I believe, and that is why she was chosen. But she was a gymnast? Hence the flexibility. (Like Michelle Yeoh who was a ballet dancer. She had to stop that after being injured so she took up action/stunt roles. And got injured again several times.) She does River very well. The terminator is not such a great role, and she does not do it so well. River is such a good role cause you can be sullen and withdraw, then crazy and run around screaming, then kill everyone in site, then collapse, then ... talk in a cockney accent, then reveal secret info, then ....

PS. Number-IX, I would love to see you behave like that at the con!

She is a normal average super genius kid, who has .... Maybe I better not tell you.

Watch Firefly before you watch Serenity.

Firefly was to be a five season show. They only produced season one. After the series was cancelled they produced the whole story into one movie. So serenity would be a spoiler. Even though thats how I did it.

Possible. But unless we do this as a competition then I would need to be in another costume during judging and competition. And I guess some others may also want to enter the comp. So may not be the best day.

If we enter the comp we need a skit. And to remember some of us are not as good at making cosplay as others.

Heh, I'm so not up for entering a competition this year! Perhaps we should postpone it for a while? Unless there's a bunch of people willing to do it on Saturday/Sunday, in which case I (and level10, because... he does what I want him to do D<) would be willing to do a half day~

I am happy to put it off to next ChCh/Welly 2011 then reuse it at Auckland 2011. Give people pleanty of time for the ambitious costumes, props, and allows ChCh/Welly people who may not go to Auck to have a group.

I already have enough for Auckgeddon hopefully 2010.

But I am happy to try for Sat or Sunday 2010 if people want.
