Pshaw. I have that already- I've finished it three times. We can play the PC version, if you'd like. ^^
Or, if you have it... I think I actually uninstalled the PC version.
... Crap, I did.
Have you got it?
If you have, then Midsummer! BRING THE X-BOX!
Midsummer: On the subject of Psychonauts' plot...
It's about this young psychic named Razputin (Raz for short) who runs away from his home- the circus- to Whispering Rock Psychic Summer Camp to become a psychonaut, which is basically a psychic secret agent. Once there, fishy things happen, and only he and his friend Lili can save the camp!
It's bloody hilarious.
You go into people's minds for the levels, and once in socialize with embodiments of their personality and memories, and try to solve their problems.
It's cool, because later on, you do the following things in the game:
-Stand on Lungfish when you become a giant Raz in the mind of Linda the Lungfish. "HE'S HEADING FOR THE ORPHANAGE!"
-Talk to badly-disguised secret agents (people with blue skin, glowing red eyes and wearing trench coats) who believe that holding a rolling pin immediately makes them a housewife. The best part? They're all voiced by Steve Blum (and if you don't know who that is, then you're a FAILURE AS A VINCENT FANGIRL!), and talk in the same monotone as our beloved Vinnie whilst saying things like "If my husband comes home, and he is drunk, I may use this rolling pin to beat him."
-Go into a circus made of meat, and watch people fall into giant blenders (less gory than it sounds, trust me).
-Meet a talking turtle.
-And a dentist who harvests brains.
-... And Sasha Nein, by far the coolest green-skinned guy ever to appear in a game.

| The PS2 version's available pre-owned at Riccarton EB Games, if that helps.
I was tempted to buy it... It's only like, $20. |

| hey Pyro, could i come?
I've been missing most of the recent cosplay meets cos of crappy work (i was at the first one though), and i want to meet some peopls again. I don't finish work till 6, but i could probably bring guitar hero 2 on xbox 360 and maybe an xbox 360 (my flatmates). Oh, i could bring a TV if you need one, and my laptop with stuff on it, and anime dvds.
I prob could only stay to 12 though, as might have stuff to do on sunday morning. |
