Scrawled this down in my notebook at about 2AM this morning. Title is only rough, I don't actually have one for it. Also, I don't know if this is any good or not, but it seemed to flow pretty well when I wrote it.

He's a punk.
There's no denying it.

That black t-shirt, those
ripped jeans, all
stereotypical,
tell-tale signs of a
rebel, a
delinquent, a
stain against the
system.

The stories all
follow him, you know;
he was the one who
beat up that guy, or
set fire to the school, or;

Did you hear? did you hear?
I heard from
someone who heard from
someone that he's been
up to more mischief,
I bet he was the
one who robbed that store!

Stories, stories.
That's all they ever are, you know.

But that doesn't
matter, that's all people
need. Once they hear the
stories, they don't need to
know any more.

Now that we've all
heard about what a
trouble-maker he is,
what we
see is what we
get, there's no need to
look any further.

What, you say the
stories aren't true?
Someone set him up, an
easy target, quick to
pin him the blame?

Yeah, right.
More stories.
This one's false though.

As if
one person's little
tale could
change everyones'
opinions so easily.

Nice try.

So they
take him at face
value still and
regard him with
distaste, or
disgust, or
contempt. Or
anger or
pity or
fear.

And he
opens his mouth to
say - but they
all scarper
away.

But there's no roar.

All that comes out is a
quiet......... Don't

Oh my! I'm glad you guys enjoyed it, I appreciate it muchly. I haven't written any poetry in a while, so...

Ahahaha. Well actually, 杜甫 is my ancestor, so, you know... maybe it's passed down through the generations? heh. Ooh, don't have FP. So many original ideas, ripe for the picking... trying to avoid that xD;
