I kind of spoiled the first season by watching it in chronological order up to episode 6 (the last episode by the order it was aired) and when I found out watching it in 'Kyon' order was better I kind of felt dissatisfied with the 'ending'.

However Endless Eight led me to just running the episodes past the third version in the background while I play games or whatever.

I wanted more. And what was with the final episode?
Was that not the pilot from Season 1- or did I watch it incorrectly?

@Admin- yeah, it was, 8 episodes of pretty much the same thing, but with different artists doing the scenes and subtle differences each time. As for the AMV I've got a song in mind (which I will not reveal) but any other suggestions? The Timewarp perhaps?

How many former Haruhi fans lost their faith due to those endless two months of repetition?

Yeah, they did issue an apology.

I think Endless Eight would have been a bit better if they put more differences between it, or shortened the amount of the episodes relating to the timeloop. I mean, it was one chapter story arc and they stretched it into eight episodes with minor differences between each one.

I was not happy with endless 8, I would've been happier if it had continued the whole season because that would've been awesome but I found myself watching it to see what the SOS lot wore (esp the pool scene, speedos ep made me laugh so much then go back to unhappy face). It could have been done in one episode, 2 at the most, I probably disliked it as much as I do because I read the novels so I knew how it was going to be solved.

I would've preferred it MUCH more if they animated the Disappearance. And/or the Snow Mountain Syndrome. A smiling Nagato is fine too. c:

... At least they're making Disappearance into a movie, I guess. =3=
