Yellow vs Blonde Wigs

Hai gaiz!

I don't know if this is a common problem for people thinking about doing characters of the blonde variety, but I'm really stuck on whether to go for yellow or natural. The character I'm cosplaying is Jill of the Jungle for ACP (not many good pictures sry, it is a 90s DOS game), and I was wondering if I could get some input from... well, any one.

I mean, her hair is really yellow in the game, but... Does yellow look terrible and tacky on real people? I'm already wearing a short green dress, I don't want to look, y'know... more tacky Razz

Um. I think you could get a naturalish one with yellow highlights or something? sorry I'm a noob when it comes to wigs.

I'm leaning towards natural, at least that way I'd be more likely to use it again. But... agh, I don't know, I'm such a noob and wanted input anyways, at least just to see what other people do.

The yellow wigs I've seen are cheeaaap. But also nasty.

I picked a Yellow one for Ran in the TouHou Group, I choose it because it has to match the 9 tails I have to make...

But since you are making a costume based on a VG, I think natural...bring her to life as it were...lol

I'd go with a golden blonde, and maybe spritz it with a little of that cheap sugar honey iced tea coloured hairspray? It'd give it a permanent yellow tint without (hopefully) making everything else yellow too. And going all crumbly. Yick.

I guess you'd have to see how yellow the wig was.
I honestly prefer a more natural blonde, but I'm sure you can get a natural looking yellow...

It's listed as Honey Golden Blonde. :3 Definitely go for more natural though.

I'd go for a bright blonde, a natural honey-ish colour, rather than all out yellow-the shades they tend to come in look undeniably cheap and nasty.

Golden Blonde! It was what I did for Flonne (who has bright yellow hair in the anime), and seems to be the best compromise - an actual yellow will make you look washed out and gross, imo.

Yeah, that's what I was worried about (even though I have warm toned skin), bright yellow isn't too kind on any one :S
