| Lol when did I write this? My computer died out while I was writing a reply like, days ago xD Paku Romi is amazing and Korean. But it's more like, her japanese impresses me the most. >: I couldn't do singing or acting *well* in any of the languages I know.
Lolol, Saimoe is always about popularity. However in seiyuu and such, popularity is a big, big plus. Say, Hanazawa Kana has gained a lot of popularity through shows like Mushi-Uta, Bakemonogatari, the second season of DtB, and also in Kannagi. She's been doing well and trying to build a name for herself. As is Tomatsu Haruka, who is, um, a year older than Kotobuki Minako (who is definitely the best singer among them in Sphere) and has played roles like Lala, Ayame and Nagi. I tell you, she is VERY VERY VERSATILE. I love hearing her voice, it's just so expressive. The feeling I get listening to Tomatsu's acting is similar to when I am listening to Orikasa Fumiko - there is a lot of emotion poured into it, and she does it so well. Some actors don't sound good in a certain emotional range, but she manages to sound, like Orii-chan, just so good in most emotions.
There's a video on youtube somewhere of Tomatsu and Hanazawa switching roles as Nagi and Zange, and it's really interesting to see the result. They are both really good in their own roles, but they are also just as good switched around ;x; it's quite depressing.
Tomatsu's singing isn't as good as Kotobuki Minako's. I think that really, Mina-chan not only looks but sounds a lot more mature than 17. Not only this, she has a decent set of voices for anime and such. : D It'd be neat to see the kind of things she comes out with.
This is why Kyo-Ani is so good. They're not only making anime that is worth the watch because it's so well animated, but also giving many talented voice actors a step up. >: DDDDDD Mufufufu. I heart Chihara Minori.
Oohara Sayaka is hilarious, I think. She can do great girly, feminine, womanly, sarcastic, insane voices, and yet still sound so good when her voice is in a more... unpolished range xD |

| Oohara Sayaka has the most awesome laughs.
Paku/park Romi is Korean, yes, but she is also Japanese born iirc so she is a master of both languages.
Haruka's voice is versatile... so is her face. She's not nicknamed "woman of 20 faces" for no reason. 8D
Tomato's singing is a bit, err... but darn Kotobuki can sing pretty well. More so than any other K-ON girl.
Speaking of Minorin... DOWNLOAD FASTER I WANNA HEAR PRECIOUS ONE WITH SOMETHING MORE THAN 64KBPS |

*A* *A*
DAZZLING. DAZZLING. I FIND YOU SO UNBELIEVABLY DAZZLING THAT I'M PRETTY MUCH OFF TOPIC.
Chihara Minori is like a goddess. Who sings so well, it's worthy of tears.
I'm on topic now. I might just PM you for some *A* |

Re: The Great Seiyuu/Voice Actors Appreciation Thread By Tracer Kinship. 23/12/09, 03:07 pm |
| .... I'll be honest here. The only singing I've heard from Chihara Minori came from the singles out of Suzumiya Haruhi and Lucky Star.
Then, after hearing this album out of curiousity...
FFFFFFF-
I feel like I've been missing out. I need to hear more of her songs. ;A; |

MINORIN FANS UNITE. TOTALLY. She deserves a separate thread in itself ;_;
In my top 10 list of J-pop songs, about half is dominated by her. She is so winsome, even my ipod knows it. |

Re: The Great Seiyuu/Voice Actors Appreciation Thread By _Yuki. 03/01/10, 12:50 pm |
| Ha ha ha...
Something that really bothers me nowadays is how so many seiyuu are judged on their appearances... if you don't look like an idol, you're not seiyuu material, etc etc.
I of course don't believe that for a moment, but I have to admit, among seiyuu, there are just ones that are BEAUTIFUL TO THE MAX. Idol look worthy. Absolutely.
Chihara Minori for a start is one of the most beautiful people I have ever seen *A*... and she is just so naturally pretty. She doesn't have to be hit with the full force of PHOTOSHOOP BEAAAMMMMMMM or anything. Nana Mizuki is another beautiful one. Gad. Even if she is shopped a lot of the time, she's just ultimately really, really cute. D: but she has a big voice. a REALLY BIG VOICE.
Beautiful talented people are just found EVERYWHARR. In seiyuu-land. |

| Minorin DID make a cameo in Lucky Star. 8D
Although most of the pics you see of Minorin right now are like after 2008 She was chubby in 2006 then OMGWTF IS HER SECRET OF GETTING SO SLIM IN SUCH A SHORT AMOUNT OF TIME
I dled the Lucky Star in Budokan (4gigs) for like 10mins of Minorin tbh. |

| I guess, for her, once she managed to slim down, she can stay that way, seeing how busy she is these days.
Argh she blogged about Chuu-bra and I think I'm gonna be forced to watch the whole show even if I don't like it since Minorin blogged about it. Waaaah. |
