okay this is being postponed ANOTHER week due to the fact the bayfield formal is on this weekend and i'm not going to be in any condition to host it afterwards. so, the next weekend.

also, it's transforming from a costume photoshoot to a costume photoshoot + sewing party. wooo. lots of things to work on. 8(

okay, we should probably try this again sometime soon. afaik we're having another sewing marathon at some point at my house, i'm not sure if photoshoots will be involved but it would be a good time to work on any costumes etc. you want help with or critique on. y/y?

My only free day is a Sunday. Just so you know. Every other day is a work day or ADP. I won't be going up to Chch anytime soon until CCPC, however I could certainly use some weeks notice to see if I have transport available.

where abouts in Dunedin do you live? and if it is a sewing party would it be a hand sew thingy or do you have sewing machine/s?

we generally bring our own because i'm a bit against lending mine (expensive if it breaks etc, not that i'm just a stingy meanie).

You know what we need?
A hideout in town that we can sew etc at, that is halfway between everywhere, and close to the hospital.
Mainly because I get broken easy. And sew through my hands regularly.
OR we could have something at my Whare one weekend and Lu's another weekend, and Ryan's the next one, and rotate, because then we wont eat all of someones food every weekend, and keep up their families.

And I have two sewing machines, and my room isn't flooded anymore. AND I got a new heater + Sewing table + New extra Bed.....And I cleaned up Very Happy

YES! But I won't be as involved for the first week 'cause I'll have my exchange student over and mum has the first week off so we can go sight seeing etc, but maybe for a day or two in the second week we could participate. It' be a good chance for her to see us NZ cosplayer's in our natural environment. I need to get a work on.. and God I hate this computer...

Baggage Problem = Still a problem. But I'll sort something out. Even if it means wearing all of my costumes on the plane to fit stall stuff in my suitcase.

Will the two-week marathon be at your place Lu?
Can I just move in for two weeks, because I think my family will be away, so getting places will be hard.
Otherwise we could have it at my house, because it will be empty. And I got rid of a whole bunch of stuff in my room so people fit in it now Very Happy

yeah, sure you can move in with me during the hols (i'm not sure if my mother would let me steal her sewing machine for that long but uh... handsewing always works...). kasey is going to be coming down to stay with me in the weekends but that shouldn't matter too much. i'm sure he won't mind.

maybe you should buy a bigger suitcase.
