Dunedin Shoot/Sewing Par-tay

FOR THOSE THAT LIVE IN GHETTO-DUNEDIN ONLY

i know that there aren't a whole lot of you guys on the forums, but i figured i'd post something here in case i don't see you (as i don't see you all as often as i should). fran and i have been planning for a while to go and take some photos in all of our costumes, which will probably occur a weekend later in june.
venue will be my house, and we'll walk up to the flagstaff forest that's a few minutes away to take photos.

of course, this is all weather permitting. 8|

bring as many costumes as you want, as we'll probably get through a fair amount during the day.
there may or may not be a party with inordinate silliness afterwards.

If by "live in Dunedin" you mean staying there for a week many times to visit relations who used to live there. Then yes yes I do live in Dunedin. ^^;;

Ummm hi? I'm new to this forumy type thingy and yea.....

How many people actually cosplay in dunedin and do you know a good place to get wigs, I'm using a place call 50 on Princess but yea anyway could you keep me updated on this photoshoot please....This is my first time cosplaying and I'm kinda nervous so any help would be appricated

I've gotten all my wigs from Fairies Wizards and Gifts, they actually do have some decent wigs there that are quite cheap (at least in my experience anyway).

Anyways there are about 7 serious cosplayers in Dunedin, 4 of which are registered on this board that I know of. We're all pretty much part of the ADP in some way, shape or form as well.

i buy all my wigs off of trademe- it's more expensive if you're buying the right one, but you get quality and they last (unlike some cheap wigs i've bought that have MOULTED on me lksjdfl)

but yeah, pretty much what icyrose said. we're really laid back and fun (at least i'd like to think so) and you'd totally be welcome to come!
