Fake tan for cosplay? By Tails. 13/11/09, 09:54 pm |
| Hiiyoooh~! (Sounds cooler in person )
Anyway, I'm getting a fake tan the day before the Wellygedon comp for my Tidus cosplay, just wondering if anyone else has done/considered a fake tan for a cosplay before? Or is it too OTT? I'm so white IT BURNS MY EYES |

| Actually, you should use *ahem* Dove Summer Glow...it's not really a fake tan but it works perfectly and you will stay tanned for ages. (That's what I do anyway. Fake tans make me feel...fake.) Do they cost much? Real fake tans, I mean. (Lol, real fake.) |

| well ... if done wrong ... you could go orange >> and look ganguro ... dnw ...
i think a spray tan like the one from garnier or bronzing makeup (thin lizzy??) would work 83 |

| Yeah I am quite scared of it going wrong, I've never gotten one before. I want it to be an instant one though, because my other cosplays for geddon like Chii are so pale. Otherwise I'd love to use that Dove stuff! I've heard it's really good~ |

| I LOVE TIDUS. In a way, he'll be more of a challenge to pull off than Ultimecia was. Oh turns out it was a gift for me! I ran off with it before she could tell me haha. Thin Lizzy? Good idea! Why don't I think of these things...isn't it expensive? |

| Thin Lizzy won't exactly work too well on pale skin from what I know. My friend is super pale and used my thin lizzy, nothing changed. I recommend the Dove somethingarather whatever it was. xD |

| Pretty darn tan xD Thin Lizzy makes me super tan too. But it doesn't work well for super pale people. BLINDING pale people. Like my friend. She said Thin Lizzy was the worst out of all she's tried to make her look tanner. D: |

| I have thin lizzy. It doesn't really make a difference if you use it like foundation but if you cake it on it goes pretty dark. And I'm blindingly white.. |

| I've had a spray tan for cosplays before (Spartans at Wellington etc). It can be expensive, but it depends on where you go. I've seen some places charge $60... *ouch* but the place I go to only charges $25. It only takes a few minutes, and lasts for days. Less hassle - and no worries about going orange either.. |
