Searching~ (why yes again) By fleyer. 05/11/09, 12:00 pm |
| This time I'm looking for a bittersweet anime. You know something like full moon. I'd like attachable characters and character death (but in a sweet way you know) Parental love if possible but I'm also open to everything again =P As two examples I'll say Full Moon cause that is a good example of bittersweet love, and Chrno Crusade is sweet but I'm looking for others too. I don't mind how long it is X3
EDIT: If it makes me bawl my eyes out like Full Moon and Chrno Crusade that's awesome too cause I know it'll be good XD |

| Clannad AS... rofl... I suppose that counts Actually, Kanon and Air too. God damnit Key.
Ga-Rei zero, maybe?
I think a few scenes in Starship Operators, perhaps
Venus versus Virus wasn't a particularly good show but I guess it might have some of those elements.
Ah, the 2 Ef series, perhaps |

| Got told that Grave of the Fireflies was bittersweet- If you don't mind downloading a anime movie :3
And the Girl who Jumped across time kind- of has it's bittersweet moments, but- that's another movie..
Think Air is kinda sad/ bittersweet..
And some random person online says that School Days is "Shocking and Sad " xD
And think Honey and Clover has a sad ending too.. |

| I'm not sure if you can call School Days as a "bittersweet" anime...
Air would definitely count as one. I cried at the last episode.
... Yeah, Key is pretty good at the bittersweet. Though I kinda feel let down with Kanon's ending. |

| Who said anything about the Ayu route...
Use the Makoto route if you want bittersweet. |

| I never really liked Ayu, to be honest, but Makoto route = ;_;.
An anime movie I can recommend is "Five Centimeters Per Second". Ending's pretty bittersweet, if not ambiguous. |

(and i though you said you cried in things that weren't remotely sad.) |
