Fallout 3 - Vault 101
Post By Sheldawg. 23/10/09, 02:13 pm

Who is indisputably, the most important person in Vault 101?

He who shelters us from the harshness of the atomic wasteland,
and to whom we owe everything including our lives?

a) The Overseer
b) The Overseer
c) The Overseer
d) The Overseer

Anyone who has played Fallout 3 would've laughed as soon as they saw that question in the GOAT exam - so this thread is all about discussing Fallout 3, that includes mods and DLC.

Anyway, what's the most gruesome death you guys have come about?

Mine is probably when I first found Brass Knuckles and ended up smashing peoples heads off. Now I still enjoy melee and unarmed weapons, but small guns seem to work better unless if I have a close range damage enhancement mod.

DISCUSS MY PEONS.

I actually left them alive, for some strange reason even though im trying to be evil Fallout 3 - Vault 101 2982

On another note, I just got this weapon that fires out any random item in your inventory similar to Half Life 2's Gravity Gun. Shooting forks at people is oh so amusing.

My most gruesome death was easily a self inflicted one. I tried to launch a fatman between a gap in the fence to take out some Super Mutants from behind.

Hit bar, blew up in my face, screen goes white, next image is my dismembered corpse missing my head both legs and one arm, flying way up in the air. I laughed so hard.

That electric sword from operation: anchorage.

I stealth crit decapitated a deathclaw and when he died all of his limbs fell off.

Hah and I watched Butch be killed by radroaches, it took a long time but was easily the most amusing death.

Haha, go Charon (i think). He also like to run at super mutant behemoths with a combat shotgun. Watching him live is more amusing than any death in this game Razz

yea, charon.

;D

HE LOVES HIS COMBAT SHOTGUN.

he barely ever swaps.

lol, i was using the rock-it-launcher at a behemoth.

but, he still had his experimental mirv and killed it really easy.

after that i ran up to a wastelander or whatever they are and he fired it.

So I just fully read the first post, and having recently traded in my copy for GoTY, because PSN aint gettin mah mullah for DLC when it provides such a shoddy service, would be keen to discuss DLC.

Namely which one do you think is best. Personally I don't dislike any of them, and welcome all of the new weapons and armor. I think I would have liked it if some of them stayed in the wastes rather than all going to new separate maps, but that's my only complaint.

Broken Steel seems like what you want, it extends the level cap - and lets you stay in the wasteland to do more quests.

I quite liked The Pitt, if I weren't to choose Broken Steel but that's only my personal opinion.

It was ages ago we downloaded our dlc, so I'm not sure what Point Lookout is like personally, but it's supposed to be really good in terms of story. And you can get a sweet perk which gives +5 damage and +10 armour while standing still/crouching. Good if you're having a shootout with someone.

I got the GOTY edition not too long ago, as well as a sweet BOS figurine from Aucklandgeddon. Finished 3/5 DLC missions.

I originally bought a pitt/ancourage DLC pack, but because it didn't include broken steel, it didn't extend the game as such, just gave me more sugar honey iced tea to do before i finish the main quest. I should have waited for the GOTY. Is anyone else like this?
