Wig care help By RainbowMoonDust. 31/03/09, 06:43 am |
| I bought a wig of Ebay it's made of Modacrylic fibre, it's long (As in waist length long) and it tangles! The washing instructions say to apply something called 'Wig spray'. Then leave the wig to soak in the shampoo (What shampoo? Special wig shampoo or ordinary shampoo?) and water for 5 minutes before washing, then to spray on conditioner. My question(s) is this:
What is 'Wig shampoo' and where do I buy it? (I live in Christchurch). I don't have the time to order online as this wig is for Wellygeddon so I only want referrals to actual shops, not online stores.
Also the fringe is way too long and I can't see! How do I cut the fringe without ruining it's shape? The fringe tapers down, the wig is for C.C. from Code Geass so the fringe is the same as hers if that helps.
Can anyone help please? This is my first wig and I'm really not entirely sure what I'm doing. |

| My advice love is to go to the Katie Bair's Petting Zoo Wigs website on wigcare advice.
Heres the link http://www.pettingzoowigs.com/wigs.html
Have a look around the site and hopefully that will give you the info you're looking for! Has helped me out recently!! ^-^ |

| Though being helpful is always great, and I'm sure that this topic will be useful to several people, just make sure that you keep an eye on the date a topic was made - this thread was made back in march - that's 7 months ago - so the moment has sort of passed, to say the least. n_n; Reviving long dead threads is called 'necroing' and against the rules on these forums as it buries topics that are actually in use. So yeah - I'm letting it slide this time because I'm sure it's info that other people will find helpful anyway, but just for future reference, check the post date. ;D |
