[OTHER] Looking for a flat in AUCKLAND

I'm sorry if this is the wrong forum, or if these threads are even allowed, but my course is drawing ever nearer and I really do need to find somewhere to live. After wading through hostels and halls of residence, flatting is definitely the cheapest and friendliest option.

My school (Freelance Animation School) is on Queen St, so somewhere near town would be nice, or even somewhere near a straight bus route on a motorway (e.g. Ellerslie.) If you'd like to know more about me, PM or email me. :]

Also a word of caution, I will not be moving until the end of January, so if it's an urgent need for a flatmate I'm afraid I can't pull it off.

Unfortunately the closer you are to town, the more expensive it gets. In town, it may be a short walk, but it wont be cheap unless you have others. And then there's utilities to go on top of that, like water and power, etc.

If its your first year, I suggest staying with relatives in Auckland, if you don't, the hostels pay slightly more, but its better than flatting with random strangers, and if you live away from home, you can apply for financial assistance.

Right section of the forum for this type of post, but please read the marketplace rules, and edit as appropriate. You're missing something to keep within the rules.

I have looked at hostels and all are WAY above my budget, plus I have absolutely zero friends and relatives in Auckland.

I am using a website for particularly trustworthy flatmates Razz Still, thought it'd be nice to see if someone in the CNZ community might have a spare room. ^__^;;
