and yeah itachi, we could either do a mascot contest or at the meeting just have everyone come up with ideas and start drawing possible mascots.

And then I can show my Welly friends, and they'll be like, "why do you have a CHCH card?" and I'll be like, "BECAUSE I AM COOLER THAN YOU! And I know most of the people in it >__>".

xD. Ah, gotta love going to 'geddon in another city. I decided I wouldn't mind living in CHCH. My mum says it would be other only other place she'd work in NZ. And we were talking about what I'd do after high school and she surgested the art school (because the only thing I want to do a career in is art >__>. I suck at every subject appart from art ...)

What impressed me was how many people showed up, despite at least 10 not being able to make it...

Right so this is what we got:

Where and When
~ Meet every second Saturday afternoon for some sort of cosplay event.
~ Meet in the square? Or where ever said event is.
~ Have like a monthly Picnic?

Cosplay events
~ Picnic, Dinner
~ Cosplay Games
~ Party, Sewing parties
~ Ice Skating, Laser Strike, Bowling, minigolf etc
~ Youtube Video Making
~ Shopping (malls)
~ Photoshoots

Contacts/advertising etc
~ The clubs Website when we have it up
~ Forums: here, cosplay.com, pulpspace
~ Bebo, Facebook, Myspace
~ deviant art and live Journal

We are gonna have membership cards, or shall I say badges.

ALSO we will do the scatter run at the end of every meeting.
(lol, that was so funny =P)

I was gonna ask this at the meeting but ah it was so easy to get side-tracked. Not to mention we so needed a megaphone =P LOL, um shall we have a cosplay picnic thing near the end of this month?

Anywho, this was a really fun meeting and it was awesome to meet all of you in RL! I really do love how random and diverse cosplayers are (even though half of them seemed to come from Avonside...

I'd love to do something before the end of this month (and my exile to a random part of Asia) But preferably something free... 'cause I'm stone broke at the mo.

Yeah I think it does. Though I'd like to call that meeting, meeting zero.
cause we didn't exactly do any activities etc (since it wasn't the aim of that meeting, it was only to plan etc) but lol we did do random dancing and lol scatter run hahahahah I'm not gonna get over that it was so funny.

Soooo, well I've written everyones contact details onto the computer, (I was able to read everyones handwriting afterall Riven xD)
So yesh, um um ... I think a picnic/games/video stuff would be rather awesome for our first official meeting/outing. Its more social then the other things on the list I think… or maybe that’s just me… iunno as long as we do something lololol.

I say yay for another cosplay picnic at the end of this month. And I won't be in Methven. Yus!
Today was fun. Can't wait for next time. I'm so happy/surprised (haprised?) that there are so many cosplayers in Christchurch (especially since 10+ people couldn't make it).

About 20 people showed up... and I'd say about half were from these forums... which is awesome!
