whats you confused and unsure about?
lol... actually me too... well only the unsure... but eh the club is only at its planning stage, and there is a lot that can be planned for it.
We could hold contests, competitions with prizes, and send a newletter out every say 3 months or something that could have... future events, past events and highlights, photos, general cosplay advice, peoples cosplay experiences/interviews~~Whoa I'ma thinking too far ahead ahahahah ^^;;

um,
for website,
- contacts: we could put a member list, and then let them choose what/if any of their contact details they want on there.
theres quite a few things we can put on the website as well, cosplay intro page (what it is, our aims) as well as what we HAVE done (lol for later onz) I gota find the list I wrote ><' xD

I'm in the middle of created an email account for it, and writing the bulk email out which is an interesting task hahah.

~ badges/cards either/both hahahha
~ mascot...?

For our first get together, I say vote = so yeah we can have the majority of people able to make it ... but after that, I think we'll just have to pick dates - cause waiting for votes etc is gonna take too long with 35+ people >>
then again lol didn't we decide to meet every second Saturday anyway?

but yeah thats the thing most people I think only have one/two costumes? Some dont have any!
So on that side of things, either keep reusing costumes (if you have one/two) or... do street clothes versions, or pick cosplays with normalish clothing ... or borrow from someone. But then we're not gonna make cosplay compulsary if someone doesn't have a costume it doesn't mean they can't come to our get-together right?

So far we've got like 6 people for either date, one for 24th, two for 31st

Oh yeah incase no one has checked their email, a group email was sent out under L Yagami - oops I forgot to change the name ^^; - that has an overview of ideas for the club, about next/or next week, and SCP.

now,
I merged Riven's with mine and added things of what exactly we got to do:

Instead of president etc, we'll have a group committee that will handle the tasks of booking events (if so), money, enforcing the rules, support, setting things up etc etc

what will the mascot be on? lol everything?

We need to sort out the design, the colours, mascot?
What information:
Intro page what cosplay/club is, Calendar, SCP, Updates (information for our next meeting (how much should be displayed online?)), History (information/diary of our past meetings), Forum links, contacts, FAQ

uhh what's with the ice cream?? sorry i dont get it @_@

and uh is it ok if we go back to the idea of meeting up the first saturday of every month? because i personally think once a week might be too..... hectic for some people, and not that this might matter but the JCCC (japanese culture club of chch, founded by willuknight!) meets up every sunday and i think it might be changed to Saturdays, depending on what Will decides.

and where do we meet up? =[ i missed the first meeting...

and should I print out a poster just to put up in school? =D only cosplayers should come?

I think this huge interest in ice cream should definitely be reflected in our mascot:

(Nazgul - ice cream was on the list 'cause we're going to eat it at the picnic, and 'cause ice cream is wonderful.)

there's a youtube series called 'fun with akatsuki' (I highly recommend it) and when they're organizing their outfits someone suggests red clouds, and lo and behold, they're wearing black cloaks with little Cloud Strifes all over them <a href="http://nz.youtube.com/watch?v=SilM52CBAJ8">Here's the link, if you're keen</a>

... and since you missed the meeting, nazgul, your email didn't get written down, thus you didn't get the email... (Give aura your email address and she'll add you to the list, and then you'll get the mail and suddenly all of this horrible confusion will turn into bright shiny clear understanding!!!)

At the moment, we're gonna try and meet up every second Saturday and we will either meet at the squrae, or at whatever place we are going to (if say we decide to do bowling/laser strike, we'll meet outside those places etc).

Yes putting posters would be good, but first we gota figure out the design and what/how much information we want on them.

Only cosplayers should come... you mean to the meetings?
Well, its for cosplayers, but it doesn't mean people can't come if they aren't in costume or are new to cosplay. ... I dont think I answered that question...

I think if people are coming they should do their utmost to be in cosplay, elsewise it could be kinda awkward if one cosplayer brings all their non-cosplay friends to look, and they don't socialize with all the other cosplayers...

...is this a reasonable thing to not want? <strike>who would bring their non-cosplay friends to a cosplay event anyway? XD</strike>

and nazgul - nf you (or soon yie) have any ideas/designs for posters I'd love to see them! then we can exploit the two of you!!! MUAhAHAHAHAHAAHAaaaaa....
(nazgul here and another of her friends are both rather good aritsts...)
