Yeah I will! But I will still wear the wig styled like the character I was meant to cosplay. I'll bring the manga just in case we do the parcel game - there are 3 volumes so that means I have 2 spare if someone wants to use that as their contribution.

All money additional to the expenses tonight, was raised from the club members for the club members, and should remain for future club events (such as the Midwinter Christmas Party)

A lot of members are students or unemployed and most can't afford to pay $10+ for every event

Why don't you put the money in the kitty to buy food and decorations for the Christmas Party

But the church has let the club use its facilities several times for free?
Don't you think this deserves a thank you?

Because the club hasn't had to pay to hire it lots of events have been free.

I don't have a problem with paying the church a fee for the use of the venue - thats basic economics, but what was talked about was from my understanding additional to that.

They mentioned donating additional money to a charity (not the church) assuming after the rest of the costs were covered. I'm just pointing out that Cosplay NZ or whatever it's called these days is a not-for-profit/charity
