OCT: HCCP! - Halloween Cosplay Party '09

Hey we have no problem with awesome/large/scary weapons as long as they're not going to hurt people or damage peoples equipment or costumes etc, so no gigantic metal scythe, but foam/cardboard/something softish + awesome+large+scary - would be, awesome?

Yes on twister, and on dances. (and possibly all those otherthings) basically give us all your ideas, we'll write them down, we may not have time for everything, but it will give us a good amount of things to draw upon, and if we haven't written down what you've suggested for some reason (with no explaination), it's not because we think your idea is rubbish, we just missed it, don't hesitate to remind us!

And I know last time that later in the evening (either the Xmas or the Halloween party, people were doing a learn some of the dances thingy, if anyone wants to do that again (I think it was Aura who brought her laptop?) the hall is pretty large and we'll make sure there are speakers this time so that those who want to do some of that can have adequate sound and there will be plenty of space) - Whats nice about this hall is there is plenty of space to have things at either ends without them interfering with one another (and plenty of space inbetween for things that don't mind being interfered upon).

I just wanted to add, if you are going to be bringing things, please write down what you've brought, last time we had a few things left lying around and we had a hard time finding the owners, possibly because they forgot they even brought the things! (I think some went unclaimed). But that is something to do on the day/night before.

(off topic for the awesome props thing) If anyone hasn't looked at the robots thread yet, they should, you can do some awesome stuff with cardboard, William and myself were discussing having a props day or two here sort of like we had the robot building, though I couldn't give you any details about it or even say it would be before the Halloween party, I just know that it would be fun, and motivating!

Haha, I already know Lucky star, I'm just rusty, only know the back row though. I still need to learn that FFVIII dance, sorry for asking you last minute at the ball, I'd forgotton about it and freaked when it came on! sweatdrop

If you don't know Hona Sainara (Bleach) dance then I can teach you, after I brush up a bit, dance was fail at the ball. sweatdrop

Let the preperation for the Halloween Party start!!

I need people to help with moving equipment and venue setup and decorations and stuff

Please let me know if you can help with moving stuff from my place to the venue, and with setup stuff - We will probably start setting up and moving stuff from 3pm

Also payment details for prepaid tickets are now up, as I said before, if you prepay you will get in for half price, having people pay beforehand is a big help when it comes to planning how much food to buy, how much to spend on decorations and game hire ect.

I'm hoping that I can make this work for only $5, last time we charged $10 but due to the bigger turn out then I had expected, we weren’t able to juggle food and money very efficiently.

The bank account is separate to my main personal account, and all money not used by this event will go towards the Christmas party.

I am not sure if I am able to come on the day or not yet.
But I would really like to help with decorations! My favorite part (besides dressing up) of Halloween is making decorations X]

I also have an exam on the day of Halloween though, so I wouldn't be able to help on the day of, or a few days before sad
