+1 vote given to TinTango, not for the content of his post but for his awesome avatar. XDDDD I used a photo of me as Yuna for mine - it's an old costume now, but it's still my msn display pic, and it's still one of my favourites. <3 Plus, yanno, with my natural hair it actually looks like me, lol!

hehe, thanks. the online form took a bit of sussing out to get a form that supported upload and direct email to us on the backend. Well worth the effort though. :) Also yes, some quite cool membership pics supplied, we're working on the final bits to produce the membership cards, but will let everyone know as soon as they're sent.

I'll be sending out a message to Riven, Rocky, Rowan, and Highlander soon aswell since we still have a few blanks in their membership information. If you read this before I get round to contacting you please fill in the membership form to make sure we have all your information (including the address so we can send the membership card once it's ready). :)

Otherwise Duckeh - membership application processed. JVCA just saw yours come in, will check for the payment tomorrow and process it.

I need to pic a picture. When do you want piccies by, or will you do them as they come along?
Given that my membership is going to run out in 25 days, should I just wait?

Initially they're going to be laminated ID style cards. We did look at plastic creditcard type ones, but for runs of less than 100 units, with all unique details the prices were pretty exorbitant. I'd love to move into them eventually tho once we have enough numbers to get the price down. ;)

@u_ne_korn - submit it as a change of information form online - you can attach the photo to it. Also current $5 membership expires 31st March, so it's closer to 55 days. Razz

For those that wondered about the membership dates it's essentially tied to the financial year of the society, so come 1st Apr we need to file a financial return for the society and will also start processing the renewals.

Head and shoulders is preferable - the cards aren't that big - but any really is fine :)

Gotta a KB limit at all? At the website end rather than how it impacts on how the picture turns out.

I'm not sure if there is a hard coded limit, but more than 500kb is probably excessive!

It's probably about time I actually did this. The only real difficulty is finding a photo of me that doesn't suck ass/completely obscure my face. I assume everyone is putting their online alias as Nickname?

Edit: Actually, I might use the picture Rikki took at acp with the epic palm!afro.

I can't transfer money online since I have nazi parents, I have to deposit money manually by travelling to banks XD;;

I have sent my application, but you might have to wait for one week for my payment since I only get paid tomorrow and they give me a check, so it takes about three days to clear. Then I have to run around looking for a bank to deposit money into.
Yay.

In that case, that makes it a bit easier for us:

WE ARE STILL IN THE FINAL QUARTER. If you get a membership now, it is $5 until March 31st - then it is $20 for the following full year! Any over payments we will credit against your name, and can be put towards renewing your membership when due.

Edit: That's for everyone, sorry - not anybody in particular Razz
