Books that involve ZOMBIES.
By Sockcat. 03/08/09, 03:38 pm |
| Wow. Just finished Pride and Predjudice and Zombies. It's fantastic. It has all the greatness of Austen, plus gorey zombie fight scenes... Elizabeth Bennet is kick-ass. Anyone else read it? |

How can anyone NOT be hooked after reading the FIRST LINE.

I'm assuming you can. Heyyyy.... I needed another male author to! Thanks for reminding me... I cannot believe that Chaface said that it was poorly written and that the two texts did not match up. It's AMAZING |

| Ooh, I've looked at Pride and Prejudice and Zombies a few times but haven't actually picked it up... I'll have to next time I see it! Is it completely re-written, or does loosely follow the events of the original novel (+zombies)?
World War Z is really good. Very... different. It feels very authentic, if, y'know, we survived apocalypse by zombie. |

| Cooolll P&P&Z does loosely follow the plotline of the original... But seeing as there is ultra-violent zombie mayhem, it is rather awesome. I was in Borders yesterday, incedentally... And guess what I saw? Sense and Sensibility and Sea Mosters. But then again, it doesn't have zombies... so... |

Thought I should add The Walking Dead to your zombie list. It's a comic, but it's great.. Really well written (though expensive to collect!). READ EET. |
