Lol. Pyro's saying "You Win!" to The Nerd after she wrote Ode to Cosplay Wig makes me think we should have like a ballad or song or poem or short story writing contest.... WEEKLY! Nothing won.... but I can put a thing that says the contest(s?) winners in the Portal.

Or possibly an art contest, not like a serious one, just one in which we can enjoy, maybe get some ideas on how we might improve our art etc.

What's y'all tink?

I really like the idea, but I agree with Duckeh + Jess - it's a little too much work each week, for the ones writing, and the ones judging. >_>

maybe once every two weeks? And then see how it goes?

It has its flaws, but the NCEA system does have some merits. Like, I like that fact that not EVERYTHING hangs on the end of year exams, for a start. o_o;

So I'm thinking a drawing contest, a poetry contest, MAYBE a short story contest and perhaps a lyrics contest? Or a photography contest?

As for judges um... I'll judge Poetry and Short Story if we do it.... I can't judge drawings and photos, all I can say is: That looks cool as man! Um.... I suppose I can also judge lyrics.

Tammy, what did you want to judge? Do you think we should have different contests? Or just one?

I think maybe a "Written" competition && a "Visual" competition.
Otherwise your gonna have people spread out to far && only a few entries into each cat.
